Walk off your Christmas puddings – free, guided walk

27th December 2018, 10:30 - 13:30

Join Discover Guildford and Surrey Hills Society Walks Leader, Pete Lambert for this very popular post-Christmas walk to stretch those legs and get some air in the lungs after the festive break. We will take in some great sights such as the River Wey, St Catherine’s Chapel, the Chantries and Pewley Down before heading back to Guildford for a much deserved drink at The Keep Guildford for a mulled wine or warm spiced gin and an offer on soup and a sandwich.

The event is free and open to all reasonably fit walkers. The length of the walk is approximately 5 miles.

Meet us on the town bridge outside the White House Pub, Guildford GU5 0HB from 10.30am for an 11 o’clock start. Dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes or boots. Also bring with you some fluids to drink on the journey and some nibbles.

Dogs are welcome but will need to remain on the lead.

Booking is essential. If you wish to join us, please register for the walk at the bottom of this page so that we’ll know to expect you on the day.

For more information please contact Pete on 07940 101732 or email into@surreyhillssociety.org.
