Farm for Health is a nature-based programme designed to support young people who are struggling with their mental well-being, are at risk of falling out of education or facing disconnection from traditional support systems.
Across farms in the Surrey Hills, young people engage in structured, hands-on activities like caring for animals, feeding livestock, taking care of the land and nature, and learning practical skills. The farm offers a calm, supportive environment where young people can rebuild confidence, establish routine, and feel a true sense of belonging.
Evidence shows that time spent outdoors, alongside animal care, can reduce anxiety, foster social skills, and help young people re-engage with learning. We work closely with schools, social services, support organisations, and families to create a safe, practical setting where young people can thrive.
Who is it for?
