Join the Chairman of Surrey Hills Society, Chris Howard on the Annual Surrey Hills Challenge. Chris and a group of Surrey Hills Society members will be walking the 10km route. The day also includes activities at the Festival of Sport hosted at Denbies Vineyard, where we will also be taking our SHS gazebo for the day. All funds raised go to the Surrey Hills Trust Fund.

As part of Guildford Walkfest, join the Chairman of Surrey Hills Society, Chris Howard for this glorious section of the North Downs Way. This 14 mile linear walk from Guildford to Dorking is in celebration of the 40th Anniversary of the North Downs Way being designated as a National Trail.

As part of Haslemere’s Walkfest, join the Chairman of Surrey Hills Society, Chris Howard on this beautiful 6 mile circular walk from Haslemere to Hindhead and back. This walk is in celebration of the Surrey Hills Inspiring Views project to create beautiful works of art that also serve as benches, along the picturesque Greensand Way.

This is a wonderful opportunity to come and discover everything happening behind the scenes of a Grade II listed theatre. Our guide will take us to a fascinating tour through the history of Leatherhead Theatre and famous names who have populated its scene.

This is a training day for those who want to get out and appreciate the Surrey Hills, but do not have the confidence and experience to use Ordnance Survey maps and a compass on their own. This course will go through basic skills suitable for use in our beautiful Surrey Hills.
