Join the President of the Surrey Hills Society for this easy (3 mile) 2 hour walk around some of Guildford’s water ways and enjoy some of our wetland birdlife.
This walk takes you by some amazing hidden surprises including one of the largest intact WWII Dragon’s Teeth defence lines, a lake, the remains of Guildford’s ancient forest and an explore down the River Wey tow path. The area is a haven for birdlife.
We will also explore the picturesque Stoke Lock with its quaint Keepers Cottage.
You can then join us for a coffee or some lunch at the coffee shop in the Spectrum Centre or enjoy one of Guildford’s many pubs or restaurants.
This walk is classed as easy although it is not suitable for those with mobility issues.
Please wear strong footwear and clothing suitable for the prevailing weather conditions.
Obedient dogs are welcome.

Time: 10.45am for prompt 11am start and 1pm finish.
