The Society promotes knowledge about the environment and the Surrey Hills National Landscape.
We offer an extensive programme of talks, visits and walks, most of which are open to everyone. All of these are designed to increase understanding and awareness of the outstanding natural beauty, which characterises the Surrey Hills National Landscape, along with its biodiverse habitats, history, heritage, and culture.
For the wider public, we provide information about the National Landscape through our presence at a number of shows and events across Surrey. We are pleased to provide information about a wide variety of self-guided walks, to share our knowledge of the area and to highlight the recreational opportunities that it affords.
Our expert volunteer speakers offer talks about the Surrey Hills. The income from these talks helps to support the wider work of the Society.
