The Society has an active Events Committee which promotes a varied programme of over 40 events each year, aimed at maximising enjoyment of the Surrey Hills. We run a free walk on the first Sunday of each month, which is open to both members and non-members and draws on our detailed knowledge of the area. We aim to provide events to suit all tastes about everything of interest in the Surrey Hills National Landscape and its surrounds. Our calendar includes:
- Visits and talks exploring the heritage of the Surrey Hills.
- Visits to houses and gardens and other venues of special interest.
- Walks led by specialists with knowledge of history, nature and local areas of particular interest.
- Visits to local enterprises promoting food and drink and local crafts.
- Trips on local waterways and much more besides.
