2025 marks the 19th year of Guildford Walkfest. Join us for our 2025 launch event with the Mayor of Guildford and hosted by Christine Howard – President, Surrey Hills Society and Chairman, Guildford Walkfest.

Arrive from 10.00am for optional refreshments at The Percy Arms in Chilworth. The official launch will take place just before 10.30am followed immediately by a short stroll through the nearby Gunpowder Mills site, led by Ken Bare who is the Coordinator of Walkfest and who has led many walks around this area.

Start point accessible by public transport e.g. bus route 32 or rail (Dorking – Guildford).

Refreshments available to purchase at The Percy Arms prior to the launch.

This will be a short, easy, flat walk with no stiles and is classed as Easy.

Length of walk: 1 – 1.5 miles (2.4k)

This event is suitable for those with mobility issues but challenges vary, so please contact us beforehand to confirm suitability.

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
