Planning
The Society is not a lobbying organisation but, where appropriate, planning issues are passed to the Planning Adviser of the Surrey Hills AONB. If the proposed site lies within the boundaries of the Surrey Hills AONB or is of a scale that would likely harm the setting of the AONB, you will receive a response.
As highlighted at our AGM, the AONB Planning Officer does respond on behalf of the AONB on any plans which may have an impact on the Surrey Hills. However, the most effective response mechanism for our members is that of individual letters / responses to the councils and interaction with local and larger pressure groups.
