Join local historian and Parish Councillor, Roy Davey for an afternoon exploring a little bit more of the history of Shere. The afternoon will start with a tour of Shere village to look at some of the historic houses of the village. There will also be an opportunity for a private tour around Shere Museum.
You will also enjoy a traditional afternoon tea, including sandwiches, cake and scones created by the SHS Events Committee, while learning more about this fascinating corner of the Surrey Hills.
The cost will be £10.00 for members, and £12.00 for non-members, which includes tea/coffee on arrival, tours of Shere village and Museum and an afternoon tea of sandwiches, cake and scones. This visit is not suitable for children or dogs.
Booking is essential and numbers are limited. If you would like to join us, please book your space(s) online at the bottom of the page or alternatively complete the downloadable booking form (below in bold green letters) and return it with your payment to our office at Warren Farm Barns before 20th October 2018. Please include a stamped addressed envelope if you are not booking online, so you may be sent full details, directions and locations for the visit.
