Saving our Bees Talk

24th October 2019, 14:30 - 16:30

Thursday 24th October 2019

Start Time: 2.30pm  Finish Time: 4.30pm

Enjoy a pleasant afternoon, in the pretty village of Shere, learning about Surrey’s bees.  Find out about the challenges facing them from one of Surrey’s Bee experts, Michelle Ernoult from The Little Bee Company.  Did you know there are approximately 270 different types of bee in the UK alone?   Only one of them is the honey bee and only a few of them are fat and fluffy.  Did you know there are lots of ways you can personally help to save these vitally important creatures?

The afternoon will include a talk and an opportunity to view and purchase some of the products she creates from the honey and the bees wax.

The inclusive cost will be £8.00 for members, and £10.00 for non-members, which includes an afternoon tea of refreshments, sandwiches, cake and honey tasting.
