This is a fairly level walk through heathland to the only remaining Semaphore Tower on the line from the Admiralty to the fleet at Portsmouth. Then via the mausoleum hidden in the woods and cross the road to go by Boldermere, before returning to the start

 Length: approx. 4 miles

Please note:   There are no gates or stiles on this walk.  The walk will be off-road.  There is a short length of boardwalk. The land is sandy but the later part could get muddy after heavy rain so suitable footwear should be worn.  The walk is suitable for well-behaved dogs on a lead.
