Exploring Stoke Park & Launch of Guildford Walkfest
Join the Vice President of the Surrey Hills Society Chris Howard, who also happens to be the Chairman of Guildford Walkfest, on this short, flat leisurely walk around the fascinating, hidden corners of the largest park in Guilford. The Mayor of Guildford, Cllr Richard Billington will see us off by cutting a ribbon to mark the start of Walkfest – a whole month of free walks around Guildford Borough.
At the end of the event we will stop for coffee at the Spectrum Leisure Centre.
The walk is short, flat and very leisurely and suitable for wheelchairs.
Stout foot wear is recommended and weather appropriate clothing and sunscreen lotion is recommended. Well behaved dogs welcome on leads.
Length of Walk: 1 ½ miles
Time: 10.30am for 11am prompt start.
