10th March 2026, 14:00 - 17:00

Mark Laird of Hazelhouse jewellery has already run a few events for the Society over the past few years and these have proved very successful.
We are holding a further glass fusion workshop with new glass shapes to make. We will be making a wave and two coasters.
Comments from previous attendees have said that it was a most enjoyable and relaxing afternoon and the cakes were fabulous.
Mark has a small studio in the north-west corner of Surrey. He will give a talk on glass fusion and explain the art of glass fusion. He will provide all the materials including pre-cut glass so we will have the afternoon to make three glass items.
It may be useful if you have some idea of what final pictures you would like to make. There is parking at the venue but there is a charge for this.
Mark will then take the pieces for firing and the finished glass should be available for collection in around 2 weeks following the event. These will need to be picked up from Godalming and there will be dates made available for collection.
Tea/coffee and freshly made cake will be provided during the afternoon.
Cost to Members: £35.00
Cost to Non-members: £40.00
This cost will include all 3 fused glass pieces and refreshments. Please let us know in the comments box when booking your ticket of any special dietary requirements.

This event is suitable for those with mobility issues.
No dogs allowed.
