Guildown and Loseley walk – as part of Guildford’s Walkfest

Time: Arrive 10.15 am for a 10.30am start with finish around 1pm

Length: approx. 5.5  miles

There is a short stretch by the river, then uphill via little used roads to the field on top of the Guildown ridge. There are good views to the North, past the University. Then down to the Loseley estate with views of the house and a short rest by the lake. Then back by paths to the start.

 Please note:   Depending on the weather, some tracks may be rutted or boggy (unlikely at the time of writing). There is 1 road crossed twice and some gates. There are no stiles.  The walk is suitable for well-behaved dogs on a lead.

This event must be booked in advance so we can limit numbers for everyone’s safety and to comply with Government guidelines.  You should not attend this event if you are feeling unwell or show any COVID-19 symptoms.  You may want to bring your own alcohol-based hand sanitiser, gloves and first aid supplies.  Face masks are optional.

We ask all attendees to follow the prevailing advice on social distancing during this event. If government advice alters prior to the event, we may implement changes or cancellation at short notice.
