A visit to The Sculpture Park, Churt
Friday 1 April 2022
10.30 am – 1pm

We are lucky enough to have the worlds largest all year Sculpture Exhibition park open for our visit at a specially negotiated price. We will have a short talk about the history of the Park and will then have a demonstration and talk by an African Artist called “Biggie”. Afterwards we can explore the park at our own convenience and pace. This takes around 2 hours as there are such a large number of exhibits – over 600.

The tracks cover around 2 miles around the 10 acre garden including woodland and water gardens.

Pease be aware that the standard guided route does have steps and is not suitable for wheelchairs. There is however a step-free route around the lakes and up into the grasslands which is accessible. The sculpture park is not flat, and all of the trails (including the step-free route) are rough woodland tracks would not be suitable for anyone who has serious difficulty walking on natural uneven ground.

This event is suitable for children and dogs are welcome, but must be kept on a short lead at all times.

Toilets are available on site.

Please wear appropriate footware and dress according to weather conditions.

There is an optional lunch afterwards at the Bel and the Dragon which is literally across the road. Please let us know by indicating in the comments box if you would like to join us for lunch at 1.00pm.  This will be at your own expense.

Cost to Members £7.50
Cost to Non-members £10.00
