Our colleagues from the Arts & Crafts Movement in Surrey are inviting Surrey Hills Society members and friends to join their first zoom lecture of the season.
Aestheticism and Arts and Crafts were two of the most significant movements in late nineteenth century British architecture and design, even affecting the fine arts. William Morris was important to both. The first was at its height around 1880, the second in the 1890s. Bud how did they relate? Are their continuities or are their differences more important
