Meet at the bridge behind the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre
Join the Vice President of Surrey Hills Society, Chris Howard on this short one hour walk in partnership with Guildford Borough Council. The Council supports a weekly Friday lunchtime walk to encourage people to get out and have a healthy lunch break, as part of their Healthy Living project.
Discover the picturesque ruin of St Catherine’s Chapel and learn about the development of the Wey canal- planned as an inland route to Portsmouth. The walk is mostly flat with one short steep climb up to the Chapel.
Stout foot wear is recommended with weather appropriate clothing plus sunscreen lotion if required.
Well behaved dogs welcome on leads.
