Titsey Place in Oxted, Surrey is an impressive manor house with beautiful gardens set in the stunning countryside of the North Downs. It has a most interesting history and houses some wonderful artefacts which will be on view.
The main part of the house is largely Georgian but parts of it date back to Tudor times. It was owned by the Gresham family for many years and gifted to the Titsey Foundation on the understanding that it would continue to be occupied as a family home, as it is to to this day.
It is open to the public at set times but the members of the Surrey Hills Society will have an exclusive opportunity to visit including a guided tour of the house, access to the church and a chance to wander round the gardens.
This event is suitable for those with mobility challenges: However please note that the visit to the house involves steps and so would not be accessible for wheelchair users. The gardens are accessible.
No dogs please.
Cost to Members: £20
