This is a reasonably challenging walk, classed as moderate and will take about two and half hours, so finishing at 12.30pm.
This is a 7km / 4.5 mile walk called the Mole Valley Cut which takes us via the Druid bypass.
There are a couple of uphill sections and a tricky downhill zigzag path, so we suggest this is an event for reasonably fit walkers. As some of the walk is on chalk which can be slippery after rain, we recommend wearing walking boots.
There are great views across the valley to London near the end of the walk.
There are no suitable refreshment stops, so we suggest participants to bring a filled water bottle and a snack. There are a couple of places on the walk with benches where we could stop.
This event is not suitable for members with mobility challenges and no dogs please.
Meet: Fetcham Car Park
