Goldstone Farm is one of the few family run dairy farms remaining within the Surrey Hills. Our exclusive visit will provide an insight into dairy farming in the area – including an extended tractor / trailer tour of the farm. We will also discover how they have diversified into gelato production using their own local raw materials. Our hosts are also, very kindly, providing tea and cakes to round off our afternoon.
If you love our walks and walking generally, then why not think of becoming a walk leader? Join us for our fun and free, all day walk leader training day including training on map reading.
It is several years since the Society visited the Rural Life Centre (RLC) at Tilford and we have never had a tour of the adjacent Farnham Heath RSPB reserve. This event rectifies both these gaps in our schedule of visits to interesting venues.
Join local tree expert, Pamela Holt for a guided tour around this quintessentially English village, near Guildford.
