Tunnel under Hindehead

Hindhead Tunnel is a feat of modern engineering and is the longest non-estuarial tunnel in the UK. It has had a massive beneficial effect on the environment taking the A3 away from the rim of the Devil’s Punchbowl enabling a substantial improvement to the landscape of the Surrey Hills. Many rare species are now coming back to this very special area of heathland in the Surrey Hills.

This event is suitable for those with mobility issues.

No dogs allowed.

Cost to members £12.00
